722: AI – wake up – take note – will change the world – impact on UK

The exponential world of AI has finally arrived and it will have a profound impact on the UK in the next few years – starting in 2025. Everyone needs to take note and act now – before it’s too late. It is a competitive race against time for all employees, contractors and service providers. Anyone that is economically active. Take note – kids, youth, young adults, middle aged people, elderly people – all people if you work or have kids.

Recent research suggests that women are particularly exposed to AI because they tend to work in offices, have professional jobs, often in the public sector and are frequently in support service and corporate roles.

In summary:

1 White collar workers jobs will be decimated – on an accelerating trend starting this year, by AI agents, that will become far more effective and efficient at performing task than humans.
2 Blue collar workers jobs will be decimated – on an accelerating trend starting this year, by robotics, humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles and drones.

The jobs that will initially be fairly well protected will be electricians, plumbers, roofers, builders and handymen. But even these jobs will be impacted eventually – may be in a 5-10 years time frame when humanoid robots get so good that they can scale ladders and install slates and solar panels. They will eventually be able to perform electrical and plumbing work, carpentry, brick laying, farming, gardening and fence building for example.

Anyone with kids – take note. Unless they can operate AI and/or robots – their skills are unlikely to be required.

As far as delivery drivers, taxi drivers and lorry drivers – these jobs will start to disappear starting at the end of 2025 on an accelerating trend for the next ten years. Autonomous taxis are being launched in Austin Texas USA end June 2025 – and their adoption will be very fast in the USA and eventually this will spread like a virus all throughout the world. Make no mistake – massive changes are just about to happen in vehicle autonomy. Everyone needs to prepare. The cost of taxis rides will drop dramatically and people will prefer to not have a driver once they have got use to the experience. Robotaxis will be proven to be far safer than being driven by a human.

Countries that embrace AI and Autonomy will prosper – a Utopian highly efficient world of abundance, lowering prices, high earnings with little work to do. We are thinking of the USA and China – the two countries that will drive AI and robotics forwards in the world. Possibly also including the Norway, Finland, Sweden, UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia – because of their abundant low energy costs and interest in high technology.

For most other countries – the economic future looks far bleaker. In some countries it could get Destopian. As far as the country that used to be very wealthy and has the furthest to slide into the economic wilderness – top ranking on this scale has to be the UK because:

1 The UK has by far the highest electricity prices in the world – which means no-one will want to build AI datacentres in the UK – meaning the country will need to import all it’s compute power.
2 The UK’s Labour government are clueless about economics, the importance of global competitiveness – and have zero scientists, engineers or private sector business people within the government. The civil service is run by humanities graduates. There is no hope with a country run by bureaucrats that have no engineering skills. Anyone that things differently is frankly deluded. In a very British way - no-one wants to talk about this. It's far to "awkward" or stressful. It might disrupt peoples perfect little lives!

The Labour party are intent on destroying the North Sea oil and gas energy sector – that will drive these people with engineering, technology and scientific skills overseas or to the unemployed - whilst driving up electricity prices further – destroying any hope of developing AI. Outsourcing wind and solar to overseas manufacturers and suppliers. All in the virtuous name of net-zero whatever that means.

Regrettably – the UK with its rising tax burden, increasing balance of payments deficits, increasing regulation and environmental taxes, increasing borrowing and winnowing out of our engineering and scientific prowess – is destined to be an economic backwater. It will be left out of the low cost AI, robotics and autonomous world that would have bought an age of abundance and low prices.

Instead we will seed economic control to the USA, EU and China. Our manufacturing will close down – because of slow AI advances and skyrocketing inflation, currency depreciation and lack of engineering skills – along with low competitive spirit, high regulatory burdens an aging largely unskilled workforce. In addition, too many entitled people working from home with inefficient work practices.

Too many University degrees in politics, history, humanities, arts, music and the like. Not enough in engineering and science. Too much study of non value creating disciplines – pretty useless for industry.

The only hope for workers is to embrace AI, robotics and autonomous electric vehicles now. Get the skills to future proof yourself. Unless you embrace AI in your field of employment – in the next 2-10 years you are likely to be laid off. Companies will only want the people with proven AI skills to help them develop their automated companies. Do not ignore this warning.

If you prefer to sit on the sidelines – then the only remaining option is to buy Tesla shares (current price $318) – because their share price is highly likely to 10x in the next 5 years and possibly 40x in the next ten years. Yes, you heard us right.

Tesla are the global leaders in:

• EV electric car, truck and lorry manufacturing
• Autonomous vehicles – the robotaxi
• Energy storage – Megapacks
• Humanoid robots

Tesla will dominate these industries. They are also developing the DoJo chip that hopes to rival the Nvidia H100. They will be integrating X.AI and Grok into their vehicle and robotic offerings. It’s the clearest winner of all companies on planet earth. Do not fade or ignore Tesla. They are the clear winner.

If you live in the UK – expect an economic collapse of sorts starting June 2025 onwards as it becomes increasingly evident that our economy is toast because of the above. It will be a very competitive battle between the USA and China – for AI and autonomy domination. The UK has not chance. It’s done too little too late. It’s a lovely pretty country to live in. But the towns and cities will go into decline and the rich people will move out to the countryside to get away from the depressing and declining town centres – with increasing homelessness and empty shops with increasing crime rates and disorder.

The UK prices and cost of living is simply off the charts a rip off – everything is double the price it should be. If you go to Portugal you will see prices half the UK levels with quality better.

Mainland Europe wont fare that much better because of the over-regulation and slow rate of technological progress - though their electricity prices are lower and they seem to embrace science and engineering far better than the Brits.

Countries likely to fare the best are Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and possibly France – because of their over priced electricity and more independant competitive thinking. Regrettably – the liberal-socialist lawyer set in London are either in denial or are deluded – thinking that Britain will stay great and strong, when it’s baked into the outcome with AI and robotics – that our economy and tax revenues are toast. Ed Miliband is currently destroying any residual chance the UK economy will survive AI and robotics by driving electricity prices sky high. All car manufacturing will have to close in the next 2-7 years – this is almost for certain. Even the creative industries in London like film production and music will be mostly destroyed by AI - film production costs will fall dramatically requiring only a tenth of the production staff. AI bots will produce better music than musicians. No one will be able to afford to see a human in concert - ticket prices will just be too high.

We hope this Special Report has given you some interesting insights and pointers to future proofing your family for the future.
