The Stamp Duty holiday has sent buyers on the hunt for quite the range of London properties

The Stamp Duty holiday has sent buyers on the hunt for quite the range of London properties

As lockdown continues to ease, it is becoming more accessible for people to move.

What's more, is that people are beginning to re-evaluate what matters to them most - whether this be living in the city and being the first one back to the office, or escaping to the countryside with all the green space your heart desires.

While financially it may seem a little scary to purchase a property right now, the Government's stamp duty holiday announcement may have put some minds at ease.

The stamp duty threshold has temporarily increased to £500,000 for property sales in England and Northern Ireland until March 31, 2021, meaning anyone buying a house costing up to £500,000 before then will not pay any stamp duty.

The holiday came into effect on Wednesday, July 8, and had an immediate effect on buyers.

In England, there was a 29% increase in buyer demand on that Wednesday alone.

And in London, there was a 48% increase in demand in London compared to the average of the previous four weeks, according to Zoopla.

So, with all this excitement around property purchases, it's interesting to take a look at the properties in London that have been checked out most since the big news.

The properties are all priced between £300k and £500k - the price bracket set to benefit most from the financial relief.

Indeed, the houses are all located within an exciting mix of boroughs - notably on the outskirts of the capital.

So, for all you fellow nosy property spies - here is a countdown of the most viewed homes in London since the stamp duty announcement, according to Zoopla:
